The location was good for exploring this pretty nice area, very close to beautiful Ubeda. Comforts of twin room were fabulous - central heating, a work desk, and a TV.

We liked staying 1 night here. It was a well-run hotel in a historic area, just off the surrounding nature reserve of Sierra De Cazorla, the old centre, and sights in town.

It had a peaceful and perfect location short walk to historical sites are located as well as restaurants in town.

Amazingly comfortable room with a TV and climate control, and particularly good view over the hills and valleys of the surrounding countryside from it.

Soundproofing between rooms needs attention if you do not wish to encounter the sounds of amorous adventures.Pay for garaging within the garage (automatic ticket dispenser) not at reception.A long tortuous walk from the garage and the reception staff did not know how the payment function operated.

I had a very pleasant stay at a charming hotel with character. The staff promptly accommodated my request for a room change due to a noisy fan, and my new room had a great west-facing view. The hotel's pool was amazing and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The quiet atmosphere made it a relaxing stay.

The most important - convenient location in the restaurant which was excellent. Brilliantly friendly, helpful people working here.

The location was perfect, just on the edge of town, with only a 10/15 minute walk into the centre. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were well equipped with tea making facilities as well as an iron and ironing board. The room was a good size overlooking the rear of the hotel. We had breakfast at the bar (not the restaurant) and for 3 euros each, had toast, juice and tea/coffee - excellent value for money in a 4 star hotel!

The swimming pool was shut, which was a great surprise as it was 34 degrees c when we arrived, and the temperature of the pool was lovely. We were told that it shut on 04/09/11 and we arrived on 16/09/11 - not sure if this is normal, but if you are expecting to use the swimming pool at any time other than July and August, do check with the hotel before you book. The receptionist was very apologetic.

It was really comfortable 1 day, would come here again. The service was excellent and the pool was good. Took the advantage of the parking on-site...
